About the General Plan Update

The City's General Plan Update is a multi-year planning and outreach effort that will serve as Vista's long-term blueprint for growth and development. This targeted update focuses on specific areas of the General Plan that require revision and reflects extensive community input gathered throughout the process.

Once adopted, the updated General Plan will guide land use decisions, policies, and priorities-helping shape Vista's future for years to come.

What to Expect at the Workshop

At Workshop Series #3, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore key updates to land use and City policies

  • See how community input shaped the Draft General Plan and Program Environmental Impact Report

  • Learn about the next steps in the adoption process

  • Share feedback and submit public comments

Your voice matters. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of Vista. Residents, business owners, and community members are encouraged to attend any one of the four sessions.
