St. Louis Work Zones August 13-19

ST. LOUIS - Drivers who use southbound Interstate 270 to westbound Route 100 will need to use alternate routes as the ramp remains closed for the remainder of the week.

Crews continue to work on the ramp from southbound I-270 to westbound Route 100 (Exit 9) to complete significant maintenance on the ramp, including replacing a bridge joint across the ramp. The ramp to eastbound Route 100 remains open. To detour around the closed ramp, drivers can continue on southbound I-270 to Dougherty Ferry (Exit 8), exit, cross over the interstate, and take northbound I-270 to the Route 100 exit. The ramp is scheduled to reopen on August 14.

In addition, at the Interstate 270 and Route 370 interchange, crews continue to work on resurfacing ramps and portions of Route 370.

This week, crews close the eastbound Route 370 ramp to southbound I-270 (exit 12A) ramp daily from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Motorists can use northbound I-270 to Missouri Bottom Road (exit 12B) and turn around to southbound I-270. Up to two eastbound Route 370 lanes will close for paving between the Discovery Bridge over the Missouri River and I-270.

Next week - the week of August 27 - crews will close the ramp from northbound I-270 ramp to westbound Route 370 (exit 22A) will close. Motorists can detour to Missouri Bottom Road and turn around to access westbound Route 370.

• Route 21, Jefferson County, 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp from southbound to Hayden Road will be closed.
• I-44, Franklin County, 1 a.m. to 3 a.m., the ramp from westbound to eastbound Route 100 will be closed.
• Route 30, Franklin County, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., one eastbound and westbound lane closed between I-44 and St. Clair. A pilot car and flaggers will guide traffic through the work zone.
• Route 185, Franklin County, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed over the Meramec River. Temporary signals will control traffic through the work zone.
• Route PP, Franklin County, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., one lane will be closed in various locations.
