Ohio State football makes changes to 2029 & 2030 non-conference schedules

Contests added against Navy and Youngstown State

The Ohio State University Department of Athletics has made three changes to future non-conference football schedules that will affect games in the 2029 and 2030 seasons.

Ohio State has added a game against Navy, scheduled for Sept. 1, 2029. The contest will be that season's opening game. In order to add that game, Ohio State and the University of Nevada have agreed to move its previously scheduled game on that date to Sept. 7, 2030.

Ohio State also rounded out its 2029 non-conference schedule by adding a game against Youngstown State, which will be played at Ohio Stadium on Sept. 15, 2029. The Buckeyes have one game remaining in order to fill out its non-conference schedules over the next five years: the season opener on Aug. 31, 2030.

2025 Single Game Tickets Available Soon

On-sale dates to purchase 2025 Ohio State single game football tickets and to select games for the Pick 3 mini-plan option are set and are approaching soon. The dates for the mini-plan sale and single game tickets for students, alumni association members, and the general public are as follows:

  • June 6 / 4 p.m.: Deadline for students to request ticket packages;
  • June 16 / 10 a.m.: - Pick 3 mini-plan; Fans can build their own mini-plan by selecting one of these two games (either Grambling or Rutgers) and adding any two games from this trio of games: Ohio University, Minnesota and UCLA;
  • June 24 / 10 a.m. - OSU Alumni Association members single game presale; and
  • June 27 / 10 a.m. - General public single game sales.

Prices for the Pick 3 mini-plan will start as low as $190. Depending on availability, fans will be able to choose the best available seating from multiple price zones in Ohio Stadium to build their package.

Where available, single game ticket prices will start as low as $64 and will vary across price zones and opponents. More information on min-plan and single game ticket options can be found by visiting https://go.osu.edu/fbtix.
