Know Before You Go: Main Street Fest 2026

Three days of live music, carnival rides, BMX shows, and shopping return to Downtown Grand Prairie Oct. 23-25. Admission and parking are free, and this year's festival features a new layout with a brand-new Main Stage in front of City Hall.

Here's your guide to everything you need to know to plan your visit.

Live Entertainment

Main Street Fest features live entertainment across three stages, plus BMX performances throughout the weekend.

Main Stage

The brand-new stage in front of City Hall will serve as the festival's Main Stage, sponsored by Amazon, featuring more than a dozen live performances and star-studded headliners.

• Friday, Oct. 23: All Funk Radio Show (8:30 p.m.) opens for The Commodores (10 p.m.)

• Saturday, Oct. 24: The Lowdown Drifters (8:30 p.m.) open for Sammy Kershaw (10 p.m.)

• Sunday, Oct. 25: Gary Hobbs (4:30 p.m.) opens for Keith Nieto (6 p.m.)

Market Square Stage and Community Stage

Additional live entertainment will take place at the Market Square Stage, located at the Farmers Market, and the Community Stage in the City Hall parking lot.

BMX Shows

Get ready for big air and high-flying action! BMX riders will bring their tricks, jumps and stunts to Main Street Fest all weekend. Performances will take place near Market Square at the following times:

• Friday, Oct. 23: 6 p.m.

• Saturday, Oct. 24: 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

• Sunday, Oct. 25: 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Carnival Rides and Tickets

The Main Street Fest carnival offers rides for guests looking to add a little more excitement to their visit.

All-day, unlimited carnival ride wristbands are available for $40 per day. Wristbands are valid only on the day of purchase. Individual ride tickets are also available, with prices varying by ride.

Grand Prairie Resident Carnival Discount

Grand Prairie residents can enjoy unlimited carnival rides for just $25 per day with a resident carnival coupon.

Here's how to get your discount:

• Visit a local Grand Prairie community center to receive up to four coupons per family.
• Bring a government-issued ID or water bill showing a Grand Prairie address.
• Redeem your coupon for unlimited carnival rides on one day of your choice during Main Street Fest.

Each coupon is valid for one day and cannot be used more than once.

Food, Shopping and Festival Vendors

Main Street Fest brings together dozens of local food vendors, shopping opportunities and festival favorites throughout downtown.

Guests can also hang out in the beer garden located at Market Square and catch all of the sports action happening all weekend long.

Parking and Free Shuttle Service

Free parking is available around the festival grounds, including surface parking lots and street parking.

A free parking shuttle will also transport guests to and from the festival grounds every 15 minutes throughout the weekend.

• Shuttle pickup: Parking lot next to Grand Prairie High School

• Shuttle drop-off: Main Street Fest Gate 4

Please be courteous to nearby neighborhoods and avoid parking in residential areas.

• Saturday, Oct. 24: 10 a.m. to midnight

• Sunday, Oct. 25: Noon to 8 p.m.
