A Table for All Initiative Supporting SNAP Recipients During Federal Shutdown
WHAT: Mayor-President Sid Edwards will host a press conference to announce A Table for All, a weeklong initiative supporting residents affected by the federal government shutdown and the temporary pause of SNAP benefits.
Running from November 10-16, the effort unites local restaurants and the Mayor's Office to ensure no family in East Baton Rouge Parish goes hungry and to showcase the community's compassion and commitment to one another.
