New WithSecure Elements capability delivers industry-first Pre-Zero-Day Protection and Software Inventory, available now for Managed Service Provider partners.

Helsinki, Finland - April 29, 2026: WithSecure, Europe's trusted cybersecurity partner, today announced the general availability of Proactive Security, a major evolution of the WithSecure Elements platform unveiled at SPHERE2YOU 2026 in Helsinki. The launch introduces patent-pending Pre-Zero-Day Vulnerability Discovery, pre-emptive exposure mitigation actions, and Software Inventory, giving Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their customers the ability to neutralise cyber threats before attackers are even aware they exist.

A patent-pending capability that combines behavioural telemetry from XDR sensors with exposure analytics in Elements XM to automatically discover exploitable vulnerabilities before they are known or analysed by humans. Elements surfaces these findings directly, with clear contextual guidance and in-platform mitigation steps.

• Pre-emptive mitigation actions: When no patch yet exists or it is inconvenient to apply one, the Elements platform does not wait. IT admins can use Elements XDR response actions, including device isolation, password reset, and Outbreak Control, to mitigate vulnerabilities pre-emptively. Outbreak Control is the platform's automated containment feature that responds instantly without manual intervention. Automated mitigation runs continuously, 24/7, reducing exposure and shrinking the window for attackers to act.

• Software Inventory: See your software attack surface and manage risks proactively. A real-time inventory of all software installed and executed across managed endpoints, with automatic detection and flagging of risky or vulnerable applications. Software Inventory feeds live data into Elements XM for exposure prioritisation, supports NIS2 compliance evidence without manual spreadsheets, and provides a durable, auditable source of truth for security posture management.
