BMI is thrilled to congratulate our many Latin songwriters who took top honors at last night's 2025 Premios Juventud Awards, which took place at the Figali Convention Center in Panama City, Panama, for the first time. Highlights included Karol G winning the prestigious Artist of the Year Award and recent BMI Impact Award honoree Tito Double P taking the New Generation - Mexican Music Award. Other notable winners included Shakira, Belinda and Grupo Firme.
Beyond the awards, it was a tremendous evening of music, including an opening tribute to Panama, featuring Boza, Dímelo Flow, Sech, Willie Colón and several others singing Latin anthems like "La Murga," "Ellos Benia Dem Bow" and "Gallina Fina." Other memorable moments included rousing performances by Gloria Trevi and Grupo Firme.
Here are this year's BMI winners. Congratulations to all!
