On December 5, Ambassador Balayan participated in the 7th meeting of the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform and contributed to the discussion on the progress of CEPA implementation.
Ambassador Balayan addressed the new priorities set out in the Strategic Agenda for the EU-Armenia Partnership, highlighting the promotion of economic development, the diversification of trade, the strengthening of security and resilience, and the adoption of joint approaches to regional challenges.Ambassador Balayan outlined the ongoing efforts across the key areas of cooperation envisaged by the agreement, including initiatives to enhance governance, harmonize economic and sectoral policies, and advance connectivity and development projects.

At the conclusion of his remarks, Tigran Balayan noted that the Strategic Agenda raises cooperation between the parties to a new and more advanced level, further strengthening Armenia's European orientation and underscoring the EU's readiness to support the country's long-term objectives.
