Political Consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom

On February 25, 2026, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland took place in London at the level of heads of the respective divisions.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, promoting investment opportunities, and strengthening collaboration in the areas of education, economic, trade, science, culture, security, and migration.

The parties also discussed pressing regional and international issues, as well as cooperation within international organizations, underscoring their shared commitment to continued constructive interaction within multilateral frameworks.
