Residents will have an opportunity to comment on the city's draft 2025 stormwater management plan during the Environmental Services Commission meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6 at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE, conference room 1E-113.
The City of Bellevue must submit a Stormwater Management Program Plan each year to the state Department of Ecology as a requirement of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. The plan describes actions the city is taking and will take in the upcoming year to meet federal water quality protection requirements.
Bellevue is one of more than 100 communities in Washington that must meet requirements of the NPDES Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. The permit is a requirement of the federal Clean Water Act.
All comments received on the draft plan will be considered before it is approved for submittal to Ecology.
