West Bogia Road Temporary Closure Underway
Repairs to a portion of West Bogia Road are currently underway, with a temporary road closure in place at West Bogia Road and Highway 29. Repairs are necessary due to damage caused by the recent rainfall.
Work hours will be as follows:
- Thursday, June 25: 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday, June 26: 6:30 a.m. to noon
Detours are in place along South Pine Barren Road and Highway 29. Drivers should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone.
Residents, pedestrians, local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.
If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
