Construction Progress Continues on Route MM Improvement Project in Franklin County…

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - Construction progress continues on the Route MM improvement project in Franklin County, following earlier unexpected delays. Two of the five sections of soldier pile /retaining wall have now been completed, marking an important milestone in the project.

The contractor is continuing work on the remaining three sections of the retaining wall as crews move forward with this phase of construction. Once the retaining wall work is finished, crews will begin preparing the area for the upcoming curve realignment.

The realignment will allow the roadway to be rebuilt in its final design , improving the overall function and safety of Route MM.

This phase of the Route MM project is expected to be completed later this spring. For further info on this project, click https://www.modot.org/projects/missouri-route-mm-safety.
