Celebrating International Women's Day: Women Changing Cities webinar
To celebrate International Women's Day, our Ambassador Marianne Weinreich , in collaboration with fellow Ambassadors Heather Allen and Lucia Mejia Dorantes , coordinators of the Women and Gender subgroup of the Ambassadors for #DiversityInTransport Network, are organising a webinar open to both Ambassadors and the wider public.
We are pleased to welcome Melissa Bruntlett, Equitable Mobility Expert and co-author of Women Changing Cities .
In this session, Melissa will explain the work of women mayors, planners, advocates and policymakers who are reshaping urban mobility and public space. From reclaiming streets to rethinking safety and accessibility, these leaders are advancing more inclusive approaches to city-planning.
This webinar provides an opportunity to reflect on the role of women in transforming transport systems and to exchange perspectives on how inclusive mobility can be embedded in policy and practice. A live Q&A discussion will follow the presentation.
