WASHINGTON - Yesterday, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs H.E. Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini. Secretary Bessent expressed solidarity in light of Iran's missile strikes against the United Arab Emirates and emphasized that the United States seeks to deter future attacks and ensure that energy markets are not further impacted by Iran.
Secretary Bessent and Minister Al Hussaini also discussed maintaining maximum pressure against Iran.
