The opening coincides with a significant milestone-20 years in Oxnard-marking two decades of winemaking, growth, and community partnership.
The self-guided tour invites guests to explore the Herzog family's winemaking roots in Slovakia, their journey to the United States, and the establishment of Herzog Wine Cellars in Oxnard. Along the way, visitors gain insight into California's unique soils and climate, as well as the essential elements of winemaking-from barrel and cork production to the techniques that define Herzog wines today.
To commemorate the opening, Herzog Wine Cellars will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony in partnership with local city officials. The event will feature remarks from members of the Herzog family and highlight the winery's continued commitment to the Oxnard community and California's wine industry.
Guests will also enjoy a reception with curated bites prepared by the award-winning chefs of Tierra Sur, located on-site at Herzog Wine Cellars.
"This new experience allows us to share not only our wines, but our family's story and passion for winemaking with the broader community," said Joseph Herzog, VP Herzog Wine Cellars
