Update on the Neighborhood Connection Fund

Update on the Neighborhood Connection Fund

Due to city budget constraints, this grant program for community members to bring positive experiences to their neighborhoods has been paused. At this time, it is unclear whether the program will return in future years. We understand that the Neighborhood Connection Fund has supported many meaningful gatherings, projects and partnerships across our community, and we appreciate everyone who has participated over the years.

While the fund will not be available in 2026, we continue to encourage neighbors to find ways to connect, build relationships and strengthen community ties.

We are grateful for the many ways neighbors continue to show up for one another. Building connection does not require a formal program; it starts with reaching out, gathering and creating opportunities to share space and conversation. More information and tools about hosting neighborhood gatherings can be found on the Neighborhood Services Page.
