Minot State University and the MSU Retain and Graduate Committee will hold a "Rise and Grind" event to help students enroll for Summer and Fall 2026 semesters.
The "Rise and Grind" event takes place from March 24 to March 27 and is designed for degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled in Summer or Fall, have completed their graduation application, or have scheduled an appointment with their advisor to enroll.
"Rise and Grind" will feature a complimentary grande drink from Sodexo Starbucks for students on March 24-27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at MSU's temporary Sodexo Starbucks location on second floor in Old Main. Minot State staff and faculty will be located on the first floor each day to assist with clearing holds, scheduling appointments with advisors, and selecting classes in Campus Connection.
"This is a great chance for students to take care of their registration and get classes before registration opens up for new students, and before they get busy with projects and exams," said Jim Sturm, Looyenga Leadership Center director and chair of MSU's Retain and Graduate Committee. "And it is a great chance to get rewarded for it, thanks to continued support from SCHEELS and Sodexo!"
Minot State and SCHEELS have partnered again this year to give away gift cards throughout the week. During the first five days of registration, MSU will randomly select five Minot State students who have enrolled to receive a $100 gift card.
While Minot State's promotion runs until March 30, students can register for classes until the start of the Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 semesters, subject to class availability. Summer classes are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 26, and Fall 2026 is set for Monday, Aug. 24, after 4 p.m.
