(Sacramento, CA) May 12, 2025 - Dr. Jasmeet Bains (D-Delano) released the following statement after Congressional Republicans revealed their planned devastating cuts to American healthcare.
"Instead of cutting waste, fraud, and abuse like they promised, Congressional Republicans are cutting healthcare from nearly 14 million Americans. While they protect their own free taxpayer-funded health insurance, they think healthcare for the rest of us is a wasteful luxury. The only fraud and abuse here is the redirection of nearly a trillion dollars from healthcare to give Elon Musk and his billionaire bros a tax cut."
