CBJ Shares Findings From “Juneau Futures” Comprehensive Plan Public Engagement

Results are in from the community-wide "Juneau Futures" public workshops and online survey.

As part of the "Our Juneau, Our Future" Comprehensive Plan Update project, the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) Community Development Department (CDD) hosted 14 in-person workshops and an accompanying online survey, designed to gather feedback from Juneau residents on where and how Juneau should focus development resources in the years ahead.

Findings are available online and include data on:

• Patterns of Choices

• Key Takeaways & Themes

• Responding to Potential Futures

"The Comprehensive Plan is a 20-year vision for the whole community, so we're dedicated to reaching a diverse audience," said CBJ Project Manager Minta Montalbo, Senior Planner at CDD. "We took our roadshow beyond the usual spots to engage with people new to the public process, and we're excited to share the results."
