Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a meeting with market participants at GIFT City on June 26, 2025. The meeting was also attended by Finance Secretary, Secretary, DEA, Secretary, D/o Revenue and Shri. K. Rajaraman, Chairperson IFSCA among others. Senior industry leaders from more than 20 market participants, including from leading banks, insurance companies, finance companies, fund managements, capital markets, brokers and payment service providers, ITFS, aircraft leasing, ship leasing, BATF services, TechFin companies, and higher education, were present at the meeting.
