Participants in the survey will be asked about their use of the highway, their experiences, and to rank nine potential pedestrian and bicycle upgrades that they would like to see in the corridor passing through Valley Ford.

Caltrans is working to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety for all Highway 1 users in Valley Ford, as part of a Sonoma County Highway 1 Bike and Pedestrian Safety Improvements planning effort.

The current outreach and planning effort is conducted in partnership with Sonoma County and the California Coastal Commission.
