ATLANTA - September 1, 2026 - Stream Realty Partners, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, announces that John Cantrell has joined the firm as Vice President of Workplace Strategy, strengthening Stream's workplace strategy capabilities within its national Office Occupier Services platform.
Based in Stream's Atlanta office, Cantrell will work with clients nationwide, providing workplace strategy services that integrate with Stream's tenant representation platform. He will work alongside Vice Chairman & Managing Director Craig Wilson and Executive Managing Director & Partner Greg Katz, Co-Heads of Stream's National Office Occupier Services, to help companies align their workplace and real estate decisions with broader business, talent, and organizational objectives.
In his role, Cantrell will lead the development and delivery of workplace strategies throughout the real estate lifecycle, from early planning and market engagement through lease negotiations, design, construction, and post-occupancy. His work will combine quantitative analysis of factors including utilization, headcount, talent, commute patterns, and real estate portfolios with qualitative insights gathered through employee surveys, focus groups, and leadership engagement.

Cantrell joins Stream from Gensler, where he most recently served as Strategy Director in the firm's Atlanta office. With 20 years of experience spanning commercial interiors, workplace strategy, product design, brand strategy, exhibitions, and architecture, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to helping organizations determine how their workplaces can better support their people and business objectives.
Throughout his career, Cantrell has worked on workplace projects ranging from boutique offices to large corporate campuses. In recent years, his work has focused on the future of work and helping organizations translate complex business, cultural, and workforce considerations into actionable real estate strategies.
