Virtual diabetes self-management class: Sept. 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14

• Details: This four-session class is held several times a year, 6 to 8 pm, via virtual meeting. Provider referral, patient pre-assessment, and registration are required. Insurance may cover all or part of the cost of this class.

Free car seat safety inspection: Sept. 19

• Time/location: 10 am to 1 pm at The River Church, 35175 Roxana Road, Frankford, DE 19945.
• Details: Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from TidalHealth Nanticoke's Trauma Department will conduct these free car seat safety checks to ensure your child's car seat is properly installed; appropriate for your child's height, weight and age; and used correctly according to manufacturer and safety guidelines.

ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Device) support group: Sept. 8

• Details: Join us this month for an informative presentation with Dr. Akhil Parashar of TidalHealth Cardiology in Salisbury, who will share his expertise on implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) devices. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Junior Board Bingo Night: Sept. 10

• Host: TidalHealth Peninsula Regional's Junior Auxiliary Board

• Details: Each ticket includes (20) $100 cash games. Additional opportunities to win will be available through silent auctions, raffles and 50/50 games.
