PORTLAND, Ore., March 11, 2026 - We're proud to share the final results from One Tree Planted on the Oregon 2025 - Siskiyou Coast Native Forest Restoration Project, a major reforestation effort that our company supported. The full initiative planted 41,310 trees across 220.3 hectares along Oregon's southern coast, restoring habitat, improving watershed health, and strengthening long-term forest resilience.

Directing Our Funding Where It Was Needed Most

As part of our partnership, we entrusted One Tree Planted to allocate our donation to the area of greatest need. After assessing project readiness, ecological urgency, and funding gaps, they selected the Siskiyou Coast Native Forest Restoration initiative as the project that would most benefit from our support. This ensured our contribution was used both strategically and effectively.

Our Contribution: A Significant Share of the Project

We were one of only three partners supporting this restoration effort, and our contribution represented a substantial portion of the overall project support. This level of involvement helped ensure the initiative could move forward and be completed successfully.

18,656 Trees Planted Through Our Support

Of the 41,310 trees planted overall, 18,656 were directly supported through our contribution. These plantings included a diverse mix of species - among them Port Orford cedar, Sitka spruce, western red cedar, Douglas fir, red alder, big leaf maple, and more.

One Tree Planted emphasized that these species were strategically selected to restore healthy, self-sustaining forests capable of withstanding pests, disease, and climate impacts. More than 14,000 disease resistant Port Orford cedars were planted to help restore this iconic native tree.

What This Project Achieved

The overall restoration initiative had wide-reaching benefits, including:

• Reforesting 220.3 hectares (544.4 acres) of riparian and upland forest areas along the southern Oregon coast.
• Improving habitat for 80 wildlife species, including salmon, trout, amphibians, birds, and mammals.
• Supporting 14 natural resource jobs and benefiting local families and small businesses in Curry County.
• Reducing wildfire risk by replacing invasive gorse with diverse native species.
• Enhancing watershed health along approximately 40 miles of riparian habitat.
• Contributing to broader conservation outcomes, including improved salmon habitat that supports endangered Southern Resident killer whales.
