(COLUMBUS, Ohio) -- The Ohio Department of Public Safety will recognize dozens of Ohioans at its annual Patriot Award Ceremony on Sept. 12. The event commemorates the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the United States.
Ohio Department of Public Safety Director Andy Wilson will honor employees, military veterans, and others representing law enforcement agencies from across the state. The awards recognize those who have committed their lives to service and public good, as well as families with histories of military and law enforcement service that span generations.
During the ceremony, attendees will hear from Chief R.M. Bruce, from the Saint John Police Force in Canada.
