Rep. Richardson Highlights Trails & Tales Site in Marysville, Marion

State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) is pleased to share that America 250 Ohio recently announced the Ohio Transportation Trail, an initiative to highlight locations across the state that have shaped the nation's transportation system into what it is today. The Ohio Transportation Trail is the latest addition to America 250-Ohio's Trails & Tales program, which aims to establish a collection of thematic experiential trails by the end of 2026.

"Having two trail sites in my District is a tremendous opportunity to showcase our region's role in shaping America's transportation history," said Richardson. "During this year of celebration of America 250, I encourage families, students, and visitors to explore the trails and learn more about how Ohio helped build our nation."

The following sites are included in the Ohio Transportation Trail:

  • Honda Heritage Center, located in Marysville, is a free museum that highlights Honda's North American History, including vintage vehicles, racing mobiles, and more!
  • Marion Union Station, built in 1902 upon the request of President Harding, served as the Midwest rail hub in Ohio and has since been refurbished into a museum and event venue.
