Sara Kaskowitz, D.O., New Sports Medicine Physician at Shriners Children's Philadelphia and Shriners Children's Doylestown

Sara Kaskowitz, D.O., is propelling the Shriners Children's sports medicine program to new heights. With growing clinic counts at both Shriners Children's Philadelphia and Doylestown clinic, Dr. Kaskowitz proves that sports injuries are common and sudden, and that care is in high demand.

Dr. Kaskowitz attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she grew interested in sports medicine and the musculoskeletal system. She then became a resident doctor at Penn State Health Saint Joseph Center for three years, focusing on family medicine and pediatrics. After residency, she completed her sports medicine fellowship at Atlantic Health. During her fellowship, she worked with athletes of all ages, including youth, collegiate and professional levels, even working with the New York Jets football team as a sports medicine physician.

While she had many wonderful experiences in her residency and fellowship, she found her passion was in caring for youth athletes. To pursue that passion, she joined the Shriners Children's team in December 2025 and has enthusiastically begun meeting patients and families. In both the Philadelphia and Doylestown locations, she provides individualized care to support young athletes and aid in their return to sports. She sees patients in the Doylestown Clinic on Mondays and Fridays, and the Philadelphia clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In both clinics, she sees patients with scheduled appointments as well as walk-in fracture clinic visits.

Dr. Kaskowitz' calm and gentle disposition makes her the perfect addition to the Shriners Children's team. To schedule an appointment, call .
