Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Attends the Events of UQGCAA and the QCASE

On 9 June 2025, Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr Ruan Zongze was invited to attend the UQGCAA Endowment Fund and the QCASE Welcome and Farewell Events and delivered speeches. Deputy Chinese Consul-General MS. Li Suyun, President of the University of Wollongong Academician Max Lu, Academician Wang Lianzhou of the AIBN, Vice President of UQ Mr Li Rongyu, UQ Alumni, scientists and students in Queensland attended the event. 

Dr Ruan said that the Chinese alumni of the University of Queensland has played an important role in promoting China-Queensland people-to-people exchanges. He hopes that the Fund will create more opportunities for young Chinese students. Chinese scientists and engineers in Queensland are an remarkable force in advancing China-Queensland and China-Australia cooperation. He hopes that they will continue to make greater contributions.
