Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of October 8, 2026

9th Street Corridor Improvements

Project Status

Expected to be completed by April 2027.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • 9th Street from North Carpenter Road to L Street

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Intersection of South Carpenter Road and West Hatch Road

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Intersection of South Carpenter Road and West Hatch Road into Riverdale Avenue
  • All turn-pockets off West Hatch Road entering the subdivision will be closed.
  • Detour in place that routes vehicles southbound to West Whitmore Avenue and back around to Vivian Road to enter from the far west side of the subdivision.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of July 2027.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

North County Corridor

Traffic Impacts

  • Roselle Avenue opened, one lane each direction between Claribel Road and Plainview Road, 25 mph.
  • Terminal Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Townsend Avenue to Plainview Road
  • Claribel Road will be closed between Roselle Avenue and Claus Road

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Codoni Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of February 2027.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • Codoni Avenue between Leckron Road and Finch Road

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Claus Road & Merle Avenue Roundabout

Project Status

Expected to be completed by February 2027.

Traffic Impacts

  • Merle Avenue between Claus Road and Thomas Court will be closed to through traffic during construction.
  • Residents within the closure area will continue to have access to and from their homes.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Highway 99 Water Main Crossing Improvements I Street, G Street, and Sierra Drive

Project Status

Expected to be completed by March 2027.

Traffic Impacts

  • The Eastbound Number 1 lane on G Street will be closed between 5th and 6th Street at the Highway 99 overpass.
  • The Southbound Number 1 lane on 5th Street will be closed between H Street and G Street.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Norwegian Avenue - City Crews

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 22, 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Please follow the detours. Expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Norwegian Avenue from Coffee Road to Gordon Avenue

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and take alternate routes when possible.

Oakdale Road near Mable Avenue

Project Status

October 12, 2026 through October 19, 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Temporary northbound lane closures, traffic shifts and possible delays.
