San Diego - Caltrans maintenance crews have closed the southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) to eastbound State Route 54 (SR-54) connector, which will remain closed until Wednesday, July 15 at 6 a.m. for emergency concrete slab work.
Southbound I-805 motorists may take the westbound SR-54 connector, exit at National City Boulevard, and then utilize the eastbound SR-54 on ramp.
Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
