Eco Explorer Day

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 13, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., and bring the whole family to the Buena Vista Park Duck Pond (1601 Shadowridge Dr.) for Eco-Explorer Day, a free, fun-filled event designed to connect kids with the wonders of stormwater and watersheds! From activities and interactive games to hands-on learning stations, children will discover the importance of environmental stewardship, Stormwater, watersheds, and water quality in a way that's engaging and memorable.

Partner agencies, including Vista Irrigation District, the San Diego County Office of Education, and the City of San Marcos, will be on-site to help educate young explorers about stormwater and how we can all protect our local waterways.

To sweeten the day, free ice cream will be available! Come curious, leave inspired. Can't wait to see you there!
