Armenian deputies meet with delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria

On September 22, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group Babken Tunyan, the members of the Friendship Group Sisak Gabrielyan, Alkhas Ghazaryan, Marina Ghazaryan, Zaruhi Batoyan, Gegham Manukyan and Gegham Nazaryan met with the delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Atanas Zafirov.

Babken Tunyan highlighted the Crossroads of Peace project and touching upon the documents signed in Washington on August 8, noted that the long-lasting peace and stability open wide field of cooperation for the development of business ties of the two countries.

In his speech, Atanas Zafirov underscored the thirty-year friendship between Armenia and Bulgaria and welcomed the launch of Armenia's EU accession process. He reaffirmed the readiness of Bulgaria to support Armenia from the European integration to energy and in other areas.

During the meeting the sides underlined the possibility of the people's free move, and in that context - the visa liberalization process, which will promote the development of tourism between the two countries.

Cooperation in culture, high technologies, air transportation and other fields was also emphasized.
