Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski meets Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt
14 January 2026On January 13, 2026 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Evgueni Sobolevski, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt for Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Sherif Kamel.
The parties discussed the priorities of Belarus and Egypt in the BRICS, the possibility of using the platform to discuss issues of economic cooperation between the participating countries.
They stressed the importance of the BRICS role in strengthening the stability of the architecture of the world order.
The interlocutors noted the constructive cooperation between Belarus and Egypt in international organizations, as well as the similarity of positions on issues on the global agenda.
