MoDOT: U.S. Route 160 Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Highlandville

Where: U.S. Route 160 bridge over the Finley River between Riverdale Drive and Finley Drive in Highlandville

When: Monday, November 10

What: Crews will begin work on the bridge rehabilitation on Route 160 in Highlandville beginning the week of November 10. The bridge will remain open, but will have narrowed lanes, lane closures, traffic shifts, and a reduced speed limit during construction. This project included the rehabilitation of the Christian County Route CC/J bridge over U.S. Route 65 in Ozark.

Traffic Impacts:

  • U.S. Route 160 bridge over the Finley River between Riverdale Drive and Finley Drive in Highlandville
  • Traffic should expect lane and shoulder closures with traffic shifts where crews are working
  • Intermittent lane closures at night
  • Route 160 OPEN in both directions with narrow lanes and reduced speeds during construction
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the closure
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.

Project Information:

  • Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, October 6, 2025.
  • Contractor: Louis-Company, LLC, Grain Valley
  • The estimated project cost is $928,831.
  • The project is scheduled for completion on December 1, 2025.
