RCPD Conducts Retail Theft Operation
Recently, RCPD conducted a retail theft enforcement operation focused on retail establishments on Zinfandel Drive. The operation included members of the RCPD POP Team, RCPD detectives, and a Sacramento County Property Crimes detective.
During the operation, officers detained nine individuals and issued nine trespass notices. Officers issued three misdemeanor citations and recovered numerous items of suspected stolen merchandise. No other businesses within the shopping complex requested police assistance or made calls for service during the operation timeframe.
The operation successfully identified and addressed retail theft at the participating businesses, resulting in several enforcement actions, the recovery of stolen merchandise, and the issuance of trespass notices to individuals identified during the operation.
