During the Assembly, Barrister Aqeel Malik attended the 19th meeting of the High-level Advisory Group (HLAG) on Countering Terrorism & Violent Extremism, where deliberations emphasized strengthening global cooperation, enhancing legislative responses, and promoting the rule of law to effectively counter terrorism and violent extremism.<>
He also participated in a panel discussion on "Migration, Terrorism & Transnational Organized Crime: Challenge Responses through Parliamentary & International Cooperation," where he presented Pakistan's stance on the need for collective action, inclusive policymaking, and robust legal frameworks to address these interlinked global challenges.<>
