The city of Las Vegas, in collaboration with Live Arts Institute and a dynamic consortium of Las Vegas dance artists and organizations, presents the family-friendly Beyond The Neon Dance Festival at 7:30 p.m. April 3-4 at the West Las Vegas Theatre, located at 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd. The $15 tickets include one performance and master dance classes Saturday, April 4, 12-4 p.m. at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Tickets are on sale online here.
These evening concerts will feature some of the city's most innovative and respected creatives performing at the West Las Vegas Theater. Dancers from Nevada Ballet Theatre II, Live Arts Institute, Kagami Art Collective, Tiera Salas, UNLV Dance Department, David Mayorga x The Quality of Movement, Red Desert Dance, S0ultry Stilettos | Kaiti Reese, La Verdad, Ivone & Gustavo, Tyrell Rolle, Mary LaCroix, The Village Dance Collective, Silver State Ballet, Jordance Studios, and Victoria Jones & the Rock Tap Company will perform.
Enhance your experience and explore a rich variety of movement styles in the master class series. The master classes will feature African dance 12-1 p.m., your choice of hip hop or ballet 1:30-3 p.m., and contemporary dance 3-4 p.m. The classes are open to all ages; participants can attend prepared to dance or just observe, no previous experience required.
