Young Applauds Nomination of Scott Krueger to Serve as U.S. Marshal

WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) released the following statement in support of President Donald Trump's announcement that he is nominating Indiana Police Captain Scott Krueger to serve as United States Marshal for the Northern District of Indiana.

"Scott Krueger has dedicated more than two decades to protecting Hoosiers and supporting Indiana's law enforcement community. His extensive experience with the Indiana State Police has prepared him well to serve as U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Indiana. I look forward to supporting his confirmation in the Senate," said Senator Young.

Krueger is a 26-year veteran of the Indiana State Police and currently serves as a captain in the Office of the Superintendent. Throughout his career, Krueger has held leadership roles advocating for law enforcement officers at both the state and national levels. He is a graduate of Purdue University and Oakland City University.
