Recent rainfall has contributed to elevated water levels along the St. Johns River, affecting access to Mariner's Cove Park Boat Ramp, 1199 Enterprise-Osteen Road, Enterprise, prompting a temporary closure as a precautionary measure.

Portions of the ramp and adjacent are submerged, making it difficult for boaters to identify ramp edges and other features needed to safely launch or retrieve vessels. Volusia County staff will reopen the boat ramp once water levels have receded sufficiently to allow for safe use.

Residents and visitors can continue enjoying boating opportunities at other Volusia County boat ramps. For a list of County-operated boat ramps and their locations, visit www.volusia.gov/boatramps.
