Homicide Unit investigating the fatal shooting of two people on Boyd Avenue: C26-57963

On March 12, 2026, around 5:30 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a gun call in the 300 block of Boyd Avenue.

Two individuals with injuries were located and transported to hospital in critical condition.

A man in his 30s, and a teenage male, have succumbed to their injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the Homicide Unit is asking for public assistance.

Anyone with information, including CCTV, cell phone, or dashcam video in and around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or anonymously at 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
