Monday, April 15, 2019 - Roper Hospital Diagnostics & ER - Northwoods opens in new location
Roper Hospital Diagnostics & ER - Northwoods reopened to the public on Wednesday, April 10th at noon in its new location, 7832 Rivers Ave.
All three local TV stations did live reports from inside the facility on Wednesday. You can watch coverage from Live 5 News and Count on 2.
The city of North Charleston also created a video from the opening celebration for leaders. You can watch it below.
The $4.8 million project involves extensive renovations to the shell of the 12,000-square-foot building. The new 24-7 ER will offer outpatient diagnostics, CT and X-Ray scans and will open with 10 exam rooms with the potential to add four more exam rooms in three years.
