Sparks, NV - The Nugget Casino Resort will be holding its annual Star-Spangled Sparks Fireworks show and festivities on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 4 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show on Victorian Avenue.

The free, all-American-style block party will feature food vendors, crafts, fireworks, and more. Fireworks are scheduled to launch at approximately 9:30 p.m., weather and wind permitting.

The City of Sparks will have the following road closures in place beginning July 3 at 12:15 a.m. through July 6 at 6:00 a.m.

  • Victorian Ave. from Pyramid Way to 14thStreet (Victorian Plaza Circle East)
  • Ave of the Oaks between 12th Street and 13thStreet (in front of the theater)
  • 10thStreet from the alley to Victorian
  • Victorian Plaza Circle (east) from Ave of the Oaks to Nugget Ave.


Free parking is available in the City of Sparks parking garage next to the Galaxy Theatre, accessible from Avenue of the Oaks or Victorian Plaza Circle.

Please note: Pets, barbecues, tents, and glass bottles are not permitted on Victorian Square during special events.
