New Public Counter Hours at Glendale Permit Services Center

Glendale, CA - Starting Monday, February 9, 2026, the Permit Services Center will implement new public counter hours to provide customers with in-person access to permit support in the afternoon for two days every week.

Customers will have access to permit assistance from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The new hours also more closely align with permit counter hours at Glendale Water & Power (GWP), allowing customers to maximize their permit support when they visit the Glendale Civic Center.

The new hours will be paired with staff who will exclusively support customers at the counter, providing more efficient customer experience.

The Permit Services Center will remain open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday through Thursday and will be closed on Fridays.

The City regularly reflects on its processes to identify and implement improvements to provide the highest quality of services to customers.

All customers are encouraged to provide feedback on permit services in-person at the counter or via email at [email protected]. Learn more about permit services at the City of Glendale at GlendalePermits.org.
