TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Closure of Papermill Road between Limestone Road and Northstar Road
Closure of Papermill Road between Limestone Road and Northstar Road
Newark- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Papermill Road between Limestone Road and Northstar Road starting Friday, August 7th through Friday, August 14th, 2026 (weather permitting) for the relocation of the temporary barrier wall and removal and upgrade of the guardrail with concrete curbing.
Detour - Northbound motorists will turn right onto Upper Pike Creek Rd, then turn left onto New Linden Hill Rd, arriving at SR/7 Limestone Rd.
Southbound motorists will use SR 7/Limestone Rd, then turn right onto New Linden Hill Rd. then turn right onto Upper Pike Creek Rd, arriving back at SR72/ Papermill Rd.
