Weekly Road Construction Update - Sept. 14 to Sept. 20

Projects Administered by Deschutes County:

Paving of Tumalo Road: Cline Falls Highway to Tumalo Place (Bend Area) - Crews will be installing permanent pavement markings on Tumalo Road and Swalley Road. Work will occur overnight.

Traffic Information - Road users should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Twin Bridges Road Closure (Tumalo Area) - Twin Bridges Road is closed to traffic for bridge work.

Traffic Information - Twin Bridges Road will be closed to through traffic between Swalley Road and White Rock Loop from Tuesday, Sept. 16 through Wednesday, Sept. 17. Traffic will detour via Cline Falls Highway, Tumalo Road and Swalley Road.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies:

Redmond Wetlands Complex (City of Redmond) - Crews will be doing sewer utility work on NW Pershall Way & NW 19th Street.

Traffic Information - NW Pershall Way will be closed to all traffic between NW 19th Street and Northwest Way. Road users should follow the signed detour route for the duration of the closure.

Skyliners Road / Skyline Ranch Road Intersection Closure (City of Bend) - Crews are constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Skyliners Road with Skyline Ranch Road.

Traffic Information - Skyliners Road is open to traffic. Skyline Ranch Road is open to traffic south of Skyliners Road, but the north segment of the roundabout remains closed. A signed detour route is in place.

Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.

U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) - Crews will be doing underground utility work on 11th Street and C Avenue.

Traffic Information - 11th Street will be closed to all traffic for underground utility work. There may also be intermittent closures on C Avenue. Road users should follow the signed detour routes.

Lower Bridge Way remains open to traffic allowing only right-in and right-out movements. Traffic bound for U.S. 97 North should follow the signed detour route along NW 19th Street and NW Davidson Way.

China Hat Road & FS Road 1815 Closure (US Forest Service) - China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are both closed at the USFS Boundary for forest thinning work.

Traffic Information - China Hat Road and FS Road 1815 are closed to all traffic at the end of County maintenance. Access to the area is closed until further notice.
