Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu Meets with H.E. Mohammad Ali Amani, General Secretary of Islamic Motalefeh Party of Iran

On May 18, Chinese Ambassador to Iran Cong Peiwu met with H.E. Mohammad Ali Amani, General Secretary of Islamic Motalefeh Party of Iran.

Ambassador Cong shared China's views on the current situation and its positive attitude toward developing China-Iran relations, expressing that China is ready to strengthen friendly exchanges with the Islamic Motalefeh Party of Iran to further deepen bilateral relations. Mohammad Ali Amani highly appreciated China's consistent and just stance, as well as the important role China has played in promoting a ceasefire and ending the conflict. He stated that as the most influential political party in Iran, the Islamic Motalefeh Party is willing to remain committed to the one-China principle and contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.
