Commission Sets Public Hearing on Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 10, 2025) - The Charlotte County Commission proposes to issue a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to Pasco-Pinellas Hillsborough Community Health System, Inc., doing business as AdventHealth Wesley Chapel to provide non-emergency advanced life support and basic life support ambulance services throughout Charlotte County.

A public hearing on the matter will be held at 10 a.m., Sept. 23, 2025, in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL.

Copies of the application are available for public inspection in the county administrator's office, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed certificate.
