League City Animal Care is here to serve our community and provide a safe and nurturing environment for each animal that comes through our doors. We're now accepting applications for individuals who would love to make a difference in their community, love PEOPLE and animals, and want to be part of the progressive change in the animal welfare field! Ideal candidates will have experience and/or bilingual (Spanish) capabilities.

We're currently looking for passionate, dedicated individuals for three key roles:

Animal Protection Officer (Full Time)

As an Animal Protection Officer, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and well-being of both animals and residents in our community. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responding to citizen calls regarding animal concerns
• Operating the Pet Resource Center to provide options for citizens in need of assistance or facing crisis
• Safely handling wild, aggressive, or venomous animals
• Investigating animal bite incidents as well as cases of neglect, cruelty, and hoarding
• Rescuing lost and stray animals that are sick, injured or in immediate danger

Animal Care Technician (Full Time)

Join our dedicated team as an Animal Care Technician, where you'll provide essential care to animals in our shelter. Your role will involve:

• Cleaning enclosures to ensure a healthy environment
• Observing and documenting animal behavior and health
• Assisting with animal evaluations, intake processes, and medical care
• Supporting efforts to re-home animals through adoption services

Community Outreach Coordinator - Development and Marketing

This is a unique opportunity to help tell our story, engage the community, and support our mission through strategic outreach and marketing efforts. In this role, you'll:

• Plan and implement community outreach initiatives and fundraising events
• Develop and manage marketing campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, researching and securing sponsorships, grants, and donations
