Shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan 19th, a working fire was ordered for the fire in a 2 1/2 story, wood-frame residence at 80 Pleasant St.
Arriving companies quickly established water supplies & started attack lines while simultaneously evacuating residents, completing searches, ventilating & overhauling. Engine 6 rapidly stretched the initial attack line.
Initial time: 710 a.m.
Working fire: 716 a.m.
All out: 1006 a.m.
Several people were displaced by the fire.
The cause will be under investigation.
Engines 6, 2, 5 & 1: Ladders 3, 1, & 2; Squads 2 & 3; Rescue 1; and Divisions 1 & 2 worked at the fire.
