Public Hearing Notice: 2025 Fire Code Update and 2025 California Wildland Interface Code

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Murrieta on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. or a time soon thereafter, at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, to consider the following matters:

Consideration of a proposed ordinance adding and adopting the 2025 California Fire Code, and the 2025 California Wildland Interface Code (CWUI), the Fire Department will make a recommendation to the City Council.

Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562, and by email at [email protected]. If you challenge the City's action on these adoptions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to the public hearing. The 2025 California Fire Code and the 2025 CWUI Code, may be reviewed in the lobby of Murrieta Fire and Rescue Administrative Office, located at 41825 Juniper Street.

It is the intention of the City to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects. Upon request, this Agenda will be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with disabilities.
